More on Legislative Delegation Hearings–These are scheduled in advance of the 2021 Florida Legislative Session to provide you with the opportunity to share your priorities with the legislators representing your county. Many of these meetings are being held in person over the next few months, including some in December. If you do not feel comfortable attending in person, you may share your recommendations by contacting your legislators directly. You may also review 1000 Friends of Florida’s 2021 Legislative Priorities for more information on what may be on the horizon.

Deadlines: To appear on the agenda a request must be made no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. All back up materials must accompany the request at the time of submission. Public comment can be made by video or phone. To accommodate as many speakers as possible in this meeting’s agenda, groups presenting to the delegation are requested to have only one individual speak on behalf of an organization. Presentations are limited to a maximum of 3 minutes. In the case of higher than expected response, that time limit may be reduced in order to accommodate more speakers.
