Located on a barrier island near the Kennedy Space Center, the City of Satellite Beach is in the crosshairs of sea level rise. This webinar covers how the city marshaled support and funding to address resilience. Dr. Ken Lindeman discusses use of science-based information to sustain support. Coastal planning specialist Thomas Ruppert shares how Florida Sea Grant has helped to guide this effort through the years. The East Central Florida Regional Planning Council’s Director of Planning and Community Development Tara McCue discusses the role of the Regional Planning Council in supporting and facilitating this initiative.
