What are some of the next steps for moving local governments and the State forward towards the adoption of sustainable landscape policies and principles? A panel addresses these and other questions from the industry, academic and landscape architecture perspectives to help lay the foundation for meaningful change. Presenters include Timothee Sallin, President of Cherrylake, a vertically integrated landscape and irrigation construction and maintenance services firm, and Secretary of the Board of 1000 Friends of Florida; Dr. Pierce Jones, Director of the University of Florida’s Program for Resource Efficient Communities; and landscape architect Chris Hite, PLA, LEED-AP, President of Dix Hite & Partners.
